The Left Nukes the U.S - India nuclear deal!

Things are in an imbroglio here at the capital with the Left parties making their feelings of the India-U.S nuclear deal perfectly known.they have effectively rejected the deal in its present format.that's not a surprise to anyone.everyone knows that the Left parties only embrace communist deals and any deals made with any country that is not communist in any form will not be acceptable to them.lets fact it,the Left parties are unduly worried by what they see,a growing distance between Russia and India and a close relationship forming between India and the United States.it is high time that these parties realise that communism and its various ideals and principles belong solely in the past and that there is no place for them in the present.what is more worrying for the Left parties is that the deal seems as though that the United States is building up India as a way of countering China!so what?the Left parties have to stop seeing everything through the communist prism and see that in modern India, communism no longer has a place and India is democratic, may become capitalistic but will never ever become communistic in nature.the modern Indians have a very high sense of self and they will not go back to the communist and socialist principles that gave rise to these very parties.that is all in the past!
Regarding the deal,it is too late for anyone to object.and even if they do so,there is not much that they or anyone else can do.the deal itself is an art of work taking two contradictory principles and binding it into a single contract.kudos to Burns and Manmohan singh for doing that.the bottom line is that the deal has already been inked and it is now contractually and legally binding on India to follow suit for the next 40 years or so.in India, the constitution makes it amply clear that the current government or any government do not need the approval of the parliament for inking any deal and any deal that is signed by the current government is legally binding on the country and in this case for 40 years.what is more there is no exit clause for India in the contract.the deal is done and the sooner we all realise and get a move on the better off we all will be.of course, this deal may realise in the Congress government losing its power, but so what, that is politics.now the U.S has to approach its congress to ratify the 123 agreement and in all probability that will be done asap.the Left parties may cry foul.but as per the constitution of India, the power rests solely with the government and not with the Parliament and rightly so.in a country of coalition politics,if the power were to rest with the Parliament, then we will never get anything done.
There is an exit strategy of sorts for India to get out of the deal.all it has to do is to make a series of nuclear bomb tests and this will scupper the deal very effectively, the U.S will have no choice but to end the deal.personally i think that the deal is way too intrusive but in order to become emancipated energy wise,we need this deal more so now than ever before!
