Emergency in Pakistan!

With all the recent events that has taken place in Pakistan one would not be that wrong if one were to think that things are indeed coming to a boil.but one should remember that most of these events are a direct result of president Musharraf and the blame cannot be laid at anyone else's door.single handed Musharraf has wrecked the fledgling relations that had been built between Afghanistan and Pakistan.if one were to ask the Afghan president who he thinks is the source of all terrorism in the world,he would, without hesitation lay the blame squarely at Musharraf's door.that is the state of relations between Afghanistan and Pakistan.
Musharraf,is coming under enormous pressure right now with half of the populace of Pakistan who want him out at any cost while the other half do their best to get what they want by keeping him there.is it any Wonder that his own military advisers had advised him first to give up his power aspirations and resign and then to advise him to declare emergency??
Let us not forget Pakistan and its past especially with dictators who like Musharraf sought to impose emergency under the dubious claim that it was for the better good of the people that that there was some serious internal threat.i am talking of the infamous general Zia -ul-haq.democracy in Pakistan seems tom have taken a backseat and all sorts of things are going on there right now.one should not be too surprised if Musharraf were to declare martial law declaring him as the sole authority is Pakistan.like i said ,things are indeed coming to a boil!so watch out!
