Turkey,Euro and secularism!

With a new prime minister soon to take charge,Turkey is poised at the brink of change whether it is for good or bad is anyone's guess.lets not forget that Turkey is a new entrant to the 'Euro' club and as such is subject to its laws and most of the Euro club laws all pretty much harp on secularism.with Islamic-oriented party of Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan taking over the secularism status of Turkey is now under review.people are keeping a very close watch on Turkey and its new prime minister to see which way the wind is flowing.
Lets not forget the Republican opposition and as such they have already cried foul over the entire election process and have pretty much said that allowing the newly elect prime minister to take office will destroy the secularist state of Turkey.what is making things even more interesting is the face that the military is fiercely secularist.so the new prime minister may already have a bit too much on his plate,on one hand he has to keep his European partners happy, then keep the military happy and at the same time counter the opposition charges and keep them as happy as well.
that's a lot of happy doing rounds and one can only wonder if he can truly pull this off.like i said before changes are coming to Turkey, whether good or bad,we can only wait and see!
