Well we are all pleased that the hostage cirsis vis-a-vis Iran is finally over.now that the hostages were released the Defense department had initialy given them the goahead to the marines to publish thier stories and now itall of asudden seemed to hav e akneejerk reaction and has withdrawn that permission.
It is all so very silly. We all can take it as given that in any hostage crisis there is bound toi be trauma and that the situation is not being helped in any way by the seesaw descisions that the MOD is having.
That apart, while you are a hostage, say you were given some gifts by your captors and you say that it is so very decent of them to do so in national television and then once you are released,on getting back to your native place, you immediately badmouth the people and the gifts they had given, calling them as junk, that is a behaviour that is not right nor decent.
I believe that one should not look a gift horse in the mouth and one should be glad that one is getting something at all.that said i agree that one may have hard feelings towards ones captors but that apart, this behaviour of the marines in praising a gift and then bad mouthing it as junk later is not becoming of them.thats my 2 cents.
