The care that we need these days!

Often as a result of our work we are not that able to look after our elderly parents/relatives as well as we should. These are the days when we need to work two shifts or take two different jobs so that we an make the ends meet. Sometimes we are so tired when we return from our work that we forget to give the necessary medicines to our elderly parents/relatives. We have all been through that and maybe it is time that we all thought of nursing homes.

Whenever we think of nursing homes, we tend to think of them as nothing more than cash registers, ringing out the bill for us to pay and paying little heed to their patients. Anyway, those days are long gone, especially with a nursing home like this one.

Here, the rates are quite low compared to what the other homes charge and what is more, here they truly care about our relatives. So we would not be getting rid off them but instead we would be making sure that they get the kind of treatment that they truly deserve!

California still burning hot!

The fires over California are still burning bright and they are going strong in spite of the winds decreasing strength. The wildfires are a common occurrence in the sunshine state of California but this is a bit too extreme even for the Desert enriched state. This year around , CA has had only a small percentage of the annual rain that it gets every year which translates to a very dry ground. Dry ground means dried plants and the perfect situation for the 'hot winds' to form. Hot winds do blast through California on an average of three days or so every year.
But contrary to all previous records, the hot winds blasted through California for a record of 78 days this year and they are on at the moment. Can you imagine having a blazing hot wildfire going on and then to have hot winds blowing up the flame and making it even hotter. It is kind of like the bellows that is used in the smelting of iron, the hot winds only serve to feed the flame and make it even hotter. Today, about 2 bodies were found at a home that was burnt to the ground by the fires. And the flames are still continuing their march of destruction through California.
